NovaParking Privacy Policy
INNOVATION INVOCATION TECHNOLOGIES INC. (NovaParking)
Last updated: 02/16/2026
INNOVATION INVOCATION TECHNOLOGIES INC. and our affiliates and subsidiaries ("Company", "we", "us" or "our") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it by complying with applicable privacy laws.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you access or use NovaParking, including our website https://innoinvo-ca.com/home/novaparking, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Privacy laws in Canada generally define "personal information" as information about an identifiable individual. This includes information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a person.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services. By using the Services, you indicate that you understand and consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time; we encourage you to review it periodically.
NovaParking is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects renters seeking short-term parking with hosts offering parking spaces. We do not own or operate the parking spaces listed by hosts. To operate the marketplace, we may need to share limited information between renters and hosts and with our service providers (for example, payment processors) as described below.
We collect and use several types of information from and about you, including:
• Account and profile information: name, email address, username, account identifiers, vehicle details (e.g., license plate number), and preferences.
• Booking and transaction information: booking dates/times, parking space identifiers, booking status, payment amounts (including Wallet Balance transactions), refunds/adjustments, and related records.
• Host listing information: parking space photos intended for public listings, descriptions, availability schedules, pricing, and location coordinates.
• Host verification information (verification-only): to ensure safety, we may request additional photos or documents to confirm that a host owns or controls the parking space (e.g., private photos of the spot, proof of ownership, or utility bills). These materials are collected strictly for verification, fraud prevention, and compliance; they are not displayed publicly.
• Identity verification (via Stripe): Hosts must complete identity verification to receive payouts. This verification is handled directly by Stripe; NovaParking does not collect or store government ID documents used for this financial verification.
• Communications and support: Messages or content you send to us (including emails, support tickets, and in-app reports), and any contact details you choose to provide during those interactions (such as a phone number for support callbacks).
• Device and usage information: IP address, device identifiers, browser type/version, operating system, time zone, app version, log data, usage details, Firebase installation IDs, Crashlytics Installation UUIDs, Firebase Analytics identifiers (to distinguish unique users and group crash reports), and advertising ID (AAID) used for analytics and app performance monitoring. To ensure the security of our Services, we also collect attestation data through Firebase App Check. This includes device-specific metrics and integrity information used to verify that our app is authentic and running on an untampered device.
• Cookies and similar technologies: information collected via cookies or similar technologies (see "COOKIES AND TRACKING").
• Automated Technologies: crash traces and stack traces when an application error occurs, as well as app lifecycle events, such as screen views and session duration.
We collect information through:
• Direct interactions: when you register, create listings, update your profile, make bookings, contact support, or report issues.
• User uploads: content you submit through the Services, such as listing photos and verification documents.
• Automated technologies: as you navigate or use the Services, we may collect technical and usage information automatically.
• Service providers and partners: we may receive information from third parties that help us provide the Services (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting, or analytics providers).
To provide specific features, the Services may request access to certain data or components on your device:
Location: To show parking spots near you and provide navigation assistance.
Camera & Photos: To allow Hosts to upload listing photos, verification documents, or overstay reports, and to allow Renters to upload profile or vehicle images.
Notifications: To send booking updates, timer alerts, and important account notices.
You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings.
The Services use map and location features to help users find and book parking. We may process your location data to show nearby spots.
Third-Party Maps: We may use third-party map providers (such as Google Maps or others) to display map tiles and provide navigation.
Data Sharing: When you use these features (e.g., tapping "Navigate" to open Google Maps), technical data such as your IP address or GPS coordinates may be transmitted to these providers to load the map or route. This processing is subject to the privacy policies of those third-party providers.
We use information we collect to:
• Provide, maintain, and operate the Services, including creating accounts, enabling listings, matching renters with available parking, and processing bookings.
• Process payments, manage Wallet Balance, handle refunds, and facilitate host payouts through Stripe.
• Verify hosts and reduce fraud/safety risks, including reviewing verification-only documents and photos where required.
• Communicate with you about your account, bookings, support requests, and policy updates.
• Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, security, and user experience of the Services, including analytics and product improvement (not for targeted advertising).
• Detect, prevent, and investigate suspected fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity.
• Monitor and analyze app stability, identify and fix software bugs, and improve the overall performance of the Services using crash reporting and analytics tools.
• Protect App Integrity. We use security and attestation services to prevent unauthorized access, reduce fraud, and ensure that our backend services only respond to valid requests from our official mobile applications.
We may disclose personal information as follows, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
• To other users of the marketplace: where necessary to complete a booking or provide the Services (for example, sharing the Host's address with the confirmed Renter, or the Renter's license plate with the Host). Hosts’ listing information (including listing photos and descriptions) is displayed to users of the Services as part of the marketplace. Host verification-only documents are not shared with other users.
• To service providers and contractors: who help us operate the Services (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics, customer support tools, email/SMS delivery providers, and mapping services), who are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only for authorized purposes. We use Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. Google may collect and use certain data as described in their own privacy policy (available at google.com/policies/privacy/partners/).
• To payment processors and financial partners (Stripe): to process payments, identity verification, and payouts. Information provided for payouts is processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
• Legal Requirements: To comply with a court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.
• Business transfers: In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, where personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
• With your consent or at your direction.
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify any individual without restriction, where permitted by law.
We may process, store, and transfer personal information in and to jurisdictions outside of Canada (for example, where our service providers operate). In these circumstances, personal information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions and may be accessible to governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies in accordance with those laws.
Whenever we engage a service provider, we require appropriate contractual safeguards and require that service providers maintain privacy and security standards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and consistent with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal information that we hold about you, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
• Access & Correction: You can update most profile information directly within the app settings.
• Marketing: Where applicable, you can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. Service-related communications (for example, booking confirmations) may still be sent.
• Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support or using the deletion option within the app (where available). We will delete your personal information, subject to retention requirements for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes (e.g., retaining transaction history).
You may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for collection, use, or disclosure, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide certain features of the Services.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to support essential functionality, remember preferences, improve the Services, and understand usage patterns. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising and do not share personal information with advertising networks for behavioral advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Services.
You can opt out of certain analytics and crash reporting features through your mobile device settings (e.g., 'Limit Ad Tracking' on iOS or 'Opt out of Interest-Based Ads' on Android).
We use physical, administrative, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
We implement Firebase App Check to protect our backend services from abuse. This service uses attestation providers (such as Apple's App Attest and Google's Play Integrity) to verify that requests originate from our authentic app on an untampered device. These providers may collect device-specific metrics and attestation material to perform this verification.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Verification documents are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for verification, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Where permitted, we may anonymize or de-identify information so it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use such information for legitimate business purposes.
The Services are not intended for children under 13. Certain features (including payments and payouts) are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it, subject to legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on our Services and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after updates indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
