Keep parking simple.
Finding parking can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially in busy or high-demand areas. NovaParking was created to help address this ongoing challenge by making it easier for drivers to discover and book short-term parking spaces in advance.
NovaParking is a peer-to-peer parking marketplace that connects renters with hosts offering parking spaces they own or control. Instead of relying solely on traditional parking facilities or searching for available spots on arrival, users can browse available listings, view details, and book parking through the app.
NovaParking acts solely as a platform that facilitates connections, bookings, and payments between renters and hosts. We do not own, operate, or manage parking spaces, and availability and access are determined by the host’s listing.
Hosts create a listing by providing basic details about a parking space they own or control, including availability, pricing, and photos. In some cases, hosts may be asked to complete a verification process before receiving payouts.
Renters browse available parking spaces, view listing details, and book for a specific date and time directly through the app.
Payments are processed through the NovaParking platform using secure third-party payment providers. Renters pay upfront, and hosts receive payouts according to the booking terms.
At the scheduled time, renters park according to the listing instructions provided by the host. Once the booking period ends, the reservation is completed automatically.
NovaParking provides tools to manage bookings, handle payments, and support users if issues arise, but does not supervise parking activity or guarantee availability beyond what is listed by the host.
NovaParking is for drivers who want a convenient way to find and book short-term parking without the uncertainty of searching on arrival. It’s designed for people who value planning ahead, transparency, and flexible parking options.
Typical renter use cases include:
Daily or occasional parking near home, work, or appointments
Short-term parking in busy areas
Parking near events or destinations where traditional parking is limited
NovaParking is for individuals or organizations that have parking spaces they own or control and want to make them available to others.
Typical host use cases include:
Homeowners with unused driveways or parking spots
Property managers with surplus parking capacity
Businesses with off-hours or underused parking
Hosts remain responsible for their parking spaces and for ensuring that listings accurately reflect availability or any other restrictions.

These FAQs are here to help explain how NovaParking works. They’re meant to be informative, not legal documents. For the official, legally binding rules, please refer to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there’s ever a difference, the Terms of Service apply.
NovaParking is a peer-to-peer parking marketplace that helps drivers find and book parking spaces from hosts who have space available. Hosts list parking spots they own or control, and renters book them for specific times.
We provide the app and technology that make bookings and payments possible — but we don’t own, operate, or manage any parking spaces ourselves.
Nope. NovaParking isn’t a parking operator, and we’re not part of the parking agreement between renters and hosts. We simply provide the platform that connects people and handles bookings and payments.
Hosts are responsible for making sure their listings are accurate and that renters can access the parking space as described. Renters are responsible for parking legally and following any instructions provided in the listing.
NovaParking doesn’t oversee parking on site and generally isn’t involved in what happens at the location, except where the law requires it.
No. Renters and hosts are responsible for their own vehicles, property, and actions. NovaParking isn’t responsible for things like damage, loss, theft, parking tickets, towing, or similar issues related to a booking, to the extent allowed by law.
Payments are handled securely by trusted third-party providers, including Stripe. NovaParking doesn’t store your full credit or debit card details.
Hosts get paid through Stripe after connecting their Stripe account and completing any required setup or verification steps.
Yes. The price you see at checkout includes applicable taxes and service fees. You’ll always see the full amount before confirming your booking — no surprises.
Bookings are usually non-refundable once confirmed, unless the law says otherwise or we clearly state something different.
If something goes wrong with the parking space — for example, it’s unavailable or inaccessible — we’ll review what happened. Depending on the situation, we may offer support such as wallet credit or, in some cases, a refund to the original payment method, in line with our Terms of Service.
If the space is occupied or unavailable, contact NovaParking support as soon as you can and before your booking ends. We may ask for details or photos so we can understand what happened.
After reviewing the situation, we may offer support such as wallet credit or, in some cases, a refund, depending on the circumstances and in line with our Terms of Service.
Yes — verification happens in a couple of steps, depending on what the host is trying to do.
First, hosts are required to complete Stripe onboarding before they can participate as a host. This includes identity verification handled directly by Stripe and is required in order to receive payouts. NovaParking doesn’t collect or store government ID used during Stripe verification.
Once Stripe onboarding is complete, hosts who want to list a parking space for booking must complete parking space verification. This includes providing the address of the space, uploading photos of the parking spot (which are shown as part of the listing), and providing information or documents that confirm the host owns or controls the parking space.
All information collected for space verification is used only to verify listings, help prevent fraud, and keep the platform safe. Private verification documents are not shown publicly.
We use personal information to run the platform (like managing accounts, bookings, and payments), keep things secure, and meet legal requirements. You can find the full details in our Privacy Policy.
NovaParking primarily stores and processes user information using secure systems and trusted service providers that operate in Canada. This information is used to run the platform, provide customer support, and verify listings.
In some cases, limited data may be processed by service providers that operate in other jurisdictions (for example, to support infrastructure, security, or reliability). When this happens, we take reasonable steps to protect your information and require appropriate safeguards to be in place.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Guidance on using the NovaParking app and getting help when you need it.
This section is here to help you use the app more easily. Screen names and flows may change as the app evolves, but the basics below should stay the same.
Create an account in the app using your email and the required profile details. You may be asked to verify your email address. If you don’t see the verification email, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
Open the app in Renter mode, browse the map or listings, select a parking space, choose an available time slot, review the total cost, and confirm your booking.
Open a listing to see available time slots and the host’s schedule. If a time slot isn’t available, it may already be booked by someone else.
In most cases, yes — unless the listing says otherwise. Always follow any access instructions provided by the host.
If the space is still available, you can try to extend your booking in the app. Extensions aren’t guaranteed and may not be possible if another booking starts after yours.
If possible, try to extend your booking before it ends. If you’re unable to extend, you’ll need to vacate the space at the end of your reservation time.
Bookings are paid using wallet credits. If you don’t have enough balance, you’ll be prompted to add funds in the app before confirming your booking. Payments and wallet top-ups are processed securely through Stripe and related providers.
When adding funds to your wallet, the minimum top-up amount is currently $5. You’ll see this clearly in the app when you add funds. This minimum top-up amount may change in the future.
There’s no minimum wallet balance required to make a booking — you just need enough wallet credit to cover the cost of your reservation.
You can view your active booking — including start and end times — in your profile or bookings section of the app.
Go to your profile and use the edit options to update your details at any time.
Switch to Host mode (if applicable), then create a listing by providing the required details such as location, availability, pricing, and photos. Make sure your listing clearly reflects access instructions and any restrictions.
Yes. Hosts are required to complete verification before listing a space and before receiving payouts. If verification is needed, the app will guide you through the required steps.
Connecting Stripe is the first step in setting up your host profile. When you choose to become a host, you’ll be guided through Stripe onboarding before you can list a parking space or receive payouts.
During this process, Stripe may ask for business or identity information, depending on your account type and applicable requirements. Stripe handles this verification directly.
Payout timing can vary depending on when a booking completes, whether there are any reviews or disputes, and Stripe’s processing timelines. In most cases, payouts are processed within 3–5 business days after a booking completes successfully.
If available, you can check payout status directly in Stripe.
If you believe a renter overstayed, document what you observed and contact NovaParking support. We may review the situation and take action in line with our Terms of Service.
Hosts are responsible for maintaining reasonable access to their parking spaces as described in their listings (including snow clearing, where applicable). Renters should also use caution and follow local laws and any posted signage.
